For Students

Since 1997, John has been providing 7 day playwriting residencies in schools for grades 3 and up. As part of the residency, each class will write a short play together based on a prompt of the classroom teacher's choice. The focus of the script can be E/LA or it can be integrated with other curricular topics. Email John for details.

For Teachers and Artists

John Morogiello is a Master Teaching Artist in Arts Integration Best Practices. For 8 years, he trained Artists how to create educational programming as a staff member of Arts for Learning Maryland's Teaching Artist Institute. He has offered professional development workshops for teachers through the 21st Century Learning Institute, Maryland Artist Teacher Institute, Harford County's SmART Program, Maryland Conference for Teachers of English and Language Arts, and Prince George's County's Arts & Learning Days. For the past two years, John has been working with the Transcontinental Educator Artist Cooperative for Humanity, training teachers in Italy how to integrate the arts with STEM topics in an effort to advance climate education.
